SQLMemTable: BDE Alternative Embedded
In-Memory Database with SQL for Delphi / C++Builder

Destroys the TDataSet instance.

destructor Destroy;

Do not call Destroy directly in an application. Usually destruction of datasets is handled automatically by Delphi. If an application creates its own instances of a dataset, however, and does not assign an Owner that is responsible for freeing the dataset, then the application should call Free, which checks that the dataset reference is not nil before calling Destroy.

Destroy performs the following tasks:

·Closes the dataset.
·Frees the Dataset Designer for the dataset, if it exists.
·Disassociates the dataset from its data source components and frees the memory allocated for them.
·Destroys the fields and field definitions associated with the dataset and frees the memory allocated to them.
·Calls the inherited destructor.
